The RAPIDO company was born in 1948, thanks to the creative character of Constant ROUSSEAU, a craftsman cabinetmaker, passionate about noble materials, working with all types of woods. In 1961 he invented and manufactured, for his own holidays, a folding canvas caravan on a chassis, convertible into a trailer the rest of the year.
3 GENERATIONS, THE SAME PASSION
Pierre ROUSSEAU joined the company in 1976 to work with his father. Very soon, he decides to conceive motorhomes. The first model left the factory in 1983: the Randonneur 410. In 2014, Nicolas ROUSSEAU, Pierre's son, joined the company and took over as sales manager. The passion for the product reaches the third generation.
A EUROPEAN GROUP, A FRENCH KNOWLEDGE, A FAMILY BUSINESS
RAPIDO has gone from being a quality French brand to becoming a European Group, one of the leaders in the motorhome market. The RAPIDO Group has grown little by little with the incorporation of the brands ESTEREL (1993), RAPIDHOME (1998), FLEURETTE (2005), ITINEO (2006), CAMPEREVE (2009), WESTFALIA (2010), DREAMER (2014) PLA / GIOTTILINE (2016), WILDAX (2017) and STYLEVAN (2017). Despite this growth, the company remains family-owned and maintains that artisan spirit with a true passion for detail.
