Hello caravaners!
As we have been doing for a few months, we like to choose a city and select some of the most outstanding campsites in the area. On this occasion we have not wanted to go too far from our business and we have prepared a list with the most outstanding campsites in Madrid, both within the city and in the surrounding towns.
Not all of us go on vacation to Santander, Almeria or Ibiza On vacation, but some of us stayed in the capital in the month of August and, best of all, enjoying that Madrid is half empty.
Let's go there!
It stands out for being the only campsite that is located in the urban area of the capital. It is located near the Canillejas and El Capricho subways (both on line 5). Its location will allow you to enjoy important parks in Madrid such as El Capricho or Juan Carlos I park.
The campsite has 55 pitches and electricity. In addition, it admits animals on camping pitches.
Located north of the capital, specifically in Navalafuente, this campsite is completely surrounded by nature. About 60 kilometers from the city center, Camping Piscis has pitches of up to 400 square meters for long stays.
On the other hand, the campsite offers you services such as tennis, paddle tennis and ping pong courts, an illuminated basketball and soccer court, a skating rink, two playgrounds ... In summer, you can also enjoy a pool with swimming courses for the most little ones.
This campsite does not allow dangerous breed dogs or motorcycle circulation within the campsite.
Located south of the capital, the Aranjuez campsite is one of the most complete on this list: swimming pools, restaurant service, supermarket, motorhome service station, car wash and first aid kit.
In the surroundings of the campsite you can enjoy a magical environment, such as the city of Aranjuez. Famous for being the resting place of the Kings in the 17th century, Aranjuez is crossed by the Tagus and Jarama rivers and is considered part of the Spanish National Heritage.
It is located in the Lozoya Valley, a magical and natural place in the Sierra de Guadarrama. This campsite belongs to the Camping Red network of campsites, trusted sites and charming environments in Spain.
Monte Holiday has plots starting at 70 square meters, with lawns and exceptional views of the Lozoya Valley. You can also enjoy free Wi-Fi and a swimming pool in the hottest months of the year.
No less than 1,368 plots of between 90 and 135 square meters. A vast extension of land with connections for electricity, water, drainage and other services such as hot water in showers, large shaded areas, ATM, full board… and many more!
In the summer months our children will be able to enjoy the large and small outdoor pool. The smallest also has a snake slide for less than 6 years.
In the surroundings of the campsite you will find the Escorial Monastery, it is impossible not to visit it. Just 30 kilometers away, in the winter season, you could go skiing to Navacerrada.
This last campsite is located in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, next to the San Juan reservoir. Whether you want to sleep in a tent, or if you go with your caravan or if you are more like a bungalow, at La Ardilla Roja you will enjoy a fabulous stay.
It has services such as a bar and restaurant, swimming pool, laundry and various activities inside and outside the campsite such as activities in the pool or climbing.
